An opportunity for an Employment Associate to join a multi-national firm, within its market-leading employment department has become available at their Cardiff office. The Opportunity: As a leading employment law practice both in the UK and oversees, this firm is looking for a high calibre Employment Associate, ready to really take the next step in your career and prove your ability on the big stage. With a mixture of contentious and non-contentious work matters for high-level clientele, this role would expect the ideal candidate to undertake a significant amount of business development, including giving seminars, producing branded publications and being the driving force behind client relationships. Based in Cardiff, there would also be travel to the firms’ other offices in the UK including head office in London. You would be working within an effective team working alongside the partners within a large team. The workload will be exclusively employment work, assisting more senior associates and partners with their cases, as well as running his or her own matters under supervision. The caseload will consist of a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work and the associate will have direct contact with a variety of clients. The successful candidates will have a real chance to progress within the firm, with an overview of their long-term career aspirations and progression.
