Overview

An amazing opportunity has come to a Newly Qualified Accounts and Audit Seniorto join a vibrant and prestigious accountancy practice based in beautiful Richmond. You will be joining an Accounts department and be a part of a team of 30, working closely with Audit Manager and Partners on their diverse portfolio of clients with turnovers of up to £25 million for the accounts and £100 million for audit located mainly in Kingston, Surrey and South West London. The company has been providing excellent services for over 30 years and has created healthy and progressive environment keeping an employee retention on a high level. Your role will be split between managing a portfolio of around 150 clients in Accounts and performing 5-10 audits a year. Assisting an Audit Manager with planning and performing high end audits with the turnovers of up to £100 as well as leading audits yourself from planning to completion and managing a small team of 2-3 Audit Semi Seniors and Juniors. Duties of Newly Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior: Working to UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, 102A and 105 regulations Role split: 60% Accounts and 40% Audit Responsible for a portfolio of 150 clients (Accounts), with turnovers up to £30m Pleading Audits for the clients with turnovers of up to £70 million Preparing Year End Statutory Accounts from start to finish Preparation of company and personal tax computations Preparation of VAT returns When assisting during the audit process duties included: o Testing of profit, expenses and wages in profit and loss statements o Auditing: o Bank accounts o Accruals o Trade creditors and debtors in statement of financial position o Disclosures in financial statements Leading audits Managing a small team of Accounts and Audit Semi Seniors and Juniors Developing client relationships The package of Newly Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior role includes : 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (25 days after 1 years’ service) Full time 37.5 hours per week Half day on Friday Free parking space Mentoring program Career progression opportunities Pension contributions Team building events like laser tag, pool, go karting Requirements of the role of a Newly Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior : ACA/ACCA Qualified UK experience in Audit Minimum 3 years of accountancy practice experience Excellent communication skills Newly Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior £38,000 -£45,000 per annum Richmond
