Project Manager - Prince 2 - Law Firm The Project Manager will be a key part of the newly created Project Management Office (PMO). Your role will be to deliver every project on time within budget and scope. You will have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. Finally you will have experience in getting the best out of the people and projects that you oversee and thrive when planning projects and working with project teams. The main duties and responsibilities for this Project Manager opportunity are: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to track progress Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationships with all stakeholders Perform risk management Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Prepare reports for senior management The skills required for this Project Manager opportunity are: Proven experience as a Project Manager (5 Years experience) Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods Proven track record of delivering multimillion pound programmes to time, cost and quality controls Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Visio, MS Project etc.) Knowledge of professional services and partnership environments advantageous The ideal candidate will have law firm experience
