Overview
Role Overview The Payments Analyst is responsible for managing the various payment queues within JGPS Montran and exception based processing where applicable e.g. manually repairing payments. The given candidate is required to develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders in order to maintain a high level of customer service. The Payments Analyst is also responsible for collating and producing monthly payment related MIS Engage with immediate stakeholders as well as supporting system enhancements and related UAT. Key Job Functions To both investigate and repair payments that do not follow the STP workflow on behalf of the EMEA offices. To manage and process in line with currency cut off times all payment queues within Montran JGPS and SWIFT. To be responsible for payment verification within Montran JGPS on behalf of the London & EMEA offices. To verify and update Base rates, Overdraft rates and daily Market Rates within UNIX. Exception based processing all payments requiring manual repairs in order to facilitate the payment process. Ensure that payment processing is in line with industry PSD2 regulations and Dubai VAT requirements. Monitor and clear all Montran JGPS payment queues each day in line with currency cut off times Investigate all STP payment exceptions and take appropriate actions to correct and enable processing. Working collaboratively with CSG to manage the manual payment validation checks and processing. Responsibilities This role will not have a release payment limit. Main Relationships will be with internal stakeholders throughout the London & EMEA regions. Responsible for repairing payments within a team that is processing circa 2500 payments per week. Key Skills & Abilities Detailed payments knowledge and Industry Standard understanding e.g. PSD2. Excellent understanding of SWIFT payment formatting MT101, MT103. MT202 & MT202Cov. Accuracy attention to detail when processing large payment volumes within tight deadlines. Ability to multitask effectively, and manage conflicting priorities.
