Overview

Eximius Group are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a London based app business that are revolutionising the educational sector. They are providing home based and online tuition wherever and whenever people need through a few simple clicks and a secure online payment process. With over 150 tutors already registered and an active customer base they now want to grow their team by hiring a senior mobile app developer. You will initially be working with an outsourced Android development team through a handover to take on the sole developer role in the current business. They are live with an iOS and Android app but want the senior developer to be an experienced Android developer who has taken apps to market with a geo-location/gig economy facet before. You must have experience in Java Swift and have Agile project management knowledge as well. You will be able to do all development work remotely (from home) but being able to travel to London for meetings will be necessary. This role will therefore be independent with you being the technical SME for the app and so requires an experienced developer who can have input into the planning of changes and the overall strategy and direction of app development. This role could lead to a CTO position in this start up for the right candidate There is no headcount assigned to this role from day one but the company expects to hire a more junior iOS developer in future who would report to you.
