iOS Developer (Swift Objective-C APIs REST GraphQL TDD UX). Are you a technically-driven, independent thinker looking for an opportunity to take ownership of an exciting Greenfield project? You could be joining a software services company and enjoying flexible working including work from home most of the week with occasional visits to the offices in London and / or Oxford. The company is renowned for its technological leadership in online delivery of professional, academic, scientific, and technical publications. They are looking for an accomplished iOS Developer to support them in advancing their core product to an iOS platform, predominantly utilising Swift and Objective-C; you'll work fairly autonomously with the opportunity to progress to technical leadership as the role progresses. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about great design and ease of use and intent on producing elegant, scalable open source code in a commercial environment. Requirements: You have professional experience building applications using Swift and Objective-C You have experience with web service APIs (i.e. REST or GraphQL) You have experience in responsive programming You've worked in test-driven environment and have written code designed to be readily testable You're familiar with iOS performance and optimisation tools and techniques Desirable: functional programming (particularly reactive techniques such as RxSwift or Combine) real-time collaborative application development, computer science (or relevant) degree, background in academic research As an iOS Developer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £70k) plus performance related bonuses and benefits scheme which includes a substantial holiday allowance, pension, health cash plans, corporate discounts and more.
