The opportunity The Resource Deployment Consultant is a key member of GCR SSL in the TAX Resource Deployment team and wider UK&I Resource Deployment network. Your key responsibilities Drive and manage resourcing performance Analyses and takes actions on SSL resourcing performance to Resource Deployment Manager Drives Retain versus Actual variance interventions as identified from Centre of Excellence (CoE) analytics Weekly review of prior week performance using CoE analytics Share SSL business performance and discuss trends, interventions and actions to improve results with your SL Resource Deployment Manager to inform Strategic Resource Lead and SL Leadership Manage demand and supply Ensure optimal demand and supply management for resource deployment within a SSL Manage day to day resourcing escalations and issues Challenge the commercial drivers of the resourcing decisions Influencing near and offshoring resource solutions to engagement teams Implement supply initiatives Ensuring client teams are backfilled when faced with a leaver or move Regular stakeholder engagement Work with Resource Deployment Manager/Lead on key accounts to understand future resourcing Deliver Experience Management Applying a D&I lens on all resourcing decisions Ensuring underperformers are given access to appropriate experiences Ensuring new joiners are allocated onto chargeable work Provide a Resource Management induction to all technical new joiners Create an Exceptional Team Participate in Resource Management team meetings, performance development requirements and training to develop the function Participate in UK&I Resourcing team projects Buddy for new joiners Skills and attributes for success Ability to demonstrate business insight to make effective resourcing decisions e.g. right capabilities, skills mix, logistics to optimise performance of productivity and profitability Strong stakeholder management capability to effectively influence Engagement Partners, Directors and Managers on resourcing solutions Exercises good judgement, knows when to flag issues and when to deal with independently To qualify for the role you must have At least three years' experience in commercial resourcing, recruitment or an operations environment that can demonstrate adaptability to the role What working at EY offers We offer a competitive remuneration package where you'll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
