Overview
Are you an experienced registered manager who is seeking a new and exciting challenge? You would be working for an established organisation who provide quality care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 10- 18. The 4 bedded residential homes is in the Wolverhampton area and has been operational since summer 2019. A salary of £34k - £38K is being offered depending on experience and qualifications as well as an outcome based bonus scheme. We are looking for a manager who is highly motivated, has excellent communication and leadership skills, displays a positive attitude, is resilient, committed and is passionate about supporting a staff team and young people. You would be working alongside a supportive staff team and working in a vibrant environment. You would have great scope to influence change and have autonomy within the registered manager role The registered manager will be responsible for The running, operation and management of an established 4 bedded residential service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Providing support guidance and supervision to a ream of residential support workers Ensuring that there is continual quality improvements to achieve and maintain an Ofsted rating for Good or Outstanding which are already in place Providing a positive role model for the staff team offering leadership, guidance and management. Ensuring that the homes policies and procedures are adhered to and resources are managed effectively. For this role it is imperative that you Can motivate and lead your team Have NVQ Level 4 for Managers in Residential Care or QCF Level 5 Diploma Leadership in Health and Social Care and children's and Young People's services. Are able to work independently as well as with in a team Have 2 years experience of managing a children's residential home. Demonstrate commitment to the staff in the home, young people and the service in order to achieve high quality outcomes Have excellent communication and active listening skills, excellent time management Hold a full manual UK driving licence If you feel you are the ideal person for this role and are committed to making a difference to the lives of children and young people please forward your CV to myself.
