Overview

We have a new vacancy for a Senior Service and Commissioning Engineer to join our client a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) for HVAC controls. You must live within a commutable distance to their Manchester offices and will be required to cover the surrounding areas (Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, Blackburn etc) so a driving license is essential. The successful Senior Service and Commissioning Engineer will have 7 years’ experience providing maintenance to Building Energy Maintenance Systems for HVAC controls, and will need to have knowledge (and training) of Trend Control Systems as a minimum, with Tridium and Cylon knowledge seen as an advantage. This role will involve planned and reactive maintenance Building Energy Maintenance Systems for HVAC controls that will involve basic fault finding and checks, health check reports for the BMS and control system as well as making suggestions on upgrades and energy saving. They have 2 major clients who require their services regularly as they are very active, and you will look to become their ‘go to person’ and main point of contact. They need someone they can turn to, to look at their sites and come up with recommendations. You will also be required to provide maintenance for smaller clients as well when required. In return, the successful Senior Service and Commissioning Engineer will be offered a starting salary is between £40,000 to £45,000 with overtime available at an agreed upon rate, a company vehicle, pension scheme and 20 days holiday bank holidays.
