Global Construction Consultancy seeking Senior Cost Management Professional to join their business. Your new company Our client are a leading consultancy with a global footprint across multiple markets. They work on projects which truly define the urban landscape and can offer sustainable long term careers to their construction professionals. With a multi- disciplinary team based in Edinburgh they are seeking to add an Associate Cost Manager to their ranks. Your new role As Associate Cost Manager you will be a senior member of their cost management team based in Edinburgh. Working from beautiful modern offices in Central Edinburgh and reporting to the local Director you will be part of a team which work on interesting complex projects. You will take on your own project portfolio and engage and motivate a commercial team to deliver exceptional cost management services to both a public and private sector client base. This will involve commercially managing a project all the way from inception to final handover ensuring your clients commercial interest is always protected and enhanced. As Associate Cost Manager you will also be responsible for developing further fee opportunities, developing commercial opportunities and enchancing our client's brand in the local market. What you'll need to succeed Our client are seeking an exceptional construction expert with well developed commercial expertise and knowledge. You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline ( quantity surveying) and be fully chartered. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading small commercial teams within a tier 1 consultancy environment but is seeking a new opportunity. Project experience within public sector frameworks would be well regarded.
