Construction Planner, main contractor, Leeds city centre, Salary circa £50,000 exp dep Your new company You will be working for a commercial main contractor with an extremely strong pipeline of work both regionally and nationally. Their scope of capabilities is extremely broad with vast multi-sector experience and a fantastic reputation within the industry. Your new role Reporting to the Construction Director your new role will support the company by identifying, controlling and forecasting timescales and resource requirements whilst implementing best practice project planning policy, processed and procedures during the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion. You will be responsible for accurately identifying and resourcing requirements for projects including labour, plant and materials. You will provide support for all construction planning functions ensuring that issues or irregularities within the programme are highlighted and understood by all. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position you must be a highly motivated and career minded individual who is seeking an opportunity with a contractor who can provide longevity and career development. You must be commercially aware and technically proficient using Construction Planning software. You will have proven experience in an administrative role as well as managing information in an orderly fashion as well as previous experience and ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous experience of working in a construction planning role will be required as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Project or Asta software. What you'll get in return In return you will get a competitive salary of up to £50,000 depending on your experience. You will also receive a car allowance and there is a bonus structure.
