Senior Quantity Surveyor, Main Contractor, Multi Sector works, Excellent salary & benefits, Nottinghamshire Your new company You will be working for an established main contractor who are based in Nottinghamshire. The company undertake roles in multiple sectors, specifically Education, Healthcare, MOD, Student Accommodation and Retail. Due to continued success in the market the organisation have secured a strong pipeline of work and require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. Your new role You will be working on a variety of projects in across the aforementioned sectors. Education projects will primarily be on the ESFA's Framework. Ideally you will have experience of Student Accommodation and High Rise projects.The position is a hands on role which will require both pre and post contract award experience. You will report directly in to the Commercial Manager and will take ownership of tasks such as; Sub contract liaison and ordering, final accounting, measurement, processing applications for payment and cost value reconciliations. You will be working on JCT and D&B forms of contract. The role will involve travel to site upon occasion. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor who is capable of running high value design and build projects. You will ideally be Degree or HND qualified and have experience of working for a Main Contractor. You will also have JCT and D&B contract knowledge. You will be willing to travel to site as required and have excellent communication skills. A UK driving license is also essential.
