Overview

FYTE Accountancy & Finance is delighted to be supporting a unique Estates Management organisation to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant on a permanent basis, based in Edinburgh City Centre. The organisation is part of a large group that operates within a variety of sectors including estates, leisure & hospitality, commercial property and forestry. Reporting directly into the Senior Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for processing the group services transactions as well as a number of energy company transactions. Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining the purchase ledger; Reconciling supplier statements and manage supplier queries; Calculating recharges and raise sales invoices to other group companies; Preparing the monthly aged debtors report and chase outstanding debtors; Processing online banking payments and bank account reconciliations; Assist in preparation of audit files and other yearend procedures; Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time and are consistent with the responsibilities of the role. The successful candidate will possess: Have a minimum of 1 years relevant financial experience Have the ability to work effectively and consistently within a team environment Demonstrate good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office, Excel and accounting software Possess high standards of work and have an excellent eye for detail Have strong organisational skills and a pro-active approach Employ a diligent and flexible attitude to work.
