Overview

A very unique opportunity has become available for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a well-respected and established organisation in Edinburgh. This would suit an experienced professional looking full time, permanent employment. The purpose of this role is to support the Finance department and wider teams across the business whilst being responsible for processing transactions. Your key responsibilities will include: Maintain the purchase ledger across the business Reconcile supplier statements and manage supplier queries Calculate recharges and raise sales invoices to other group companies Prepare the monthly aged debtors report and chase outstanding debtors Process online banking payments Bank account reconciliations Assist in preparation of audit files and other yearend procedures Answer phones in the finance office as required Undertake general administration duties and any additional tasks when required Follow company policies and procedures in relation to H&S To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience / background: Previous work experience within a busy finance team ideally within a similar role Offer excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt and work to various deadlines and timescales Demonstrate strong IT capability including MS Office and accounting software Great eye for detail with a naturally high standard Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach Positive, diligent and a flexible attitude This position is permanent and suitable for individuals who wish to work full time, you will receive a salary of £19k per annum and receive great benefits including 30 days leave per annum inclu statutory & local holidays / Generous pension scheme / Life assurance /Length of service holiday scheme / Holiday purchase scheme… and so much more For more information or to apply, please email your CV to ASAP Whilst Utopian Recruitment strives to get in touch with all our applicants, it isn’t always possible.
