Overview
Never more so have experienced Credit Managers been needed within business. Our client, based in the West of Scotland, within easy reach of rail and road have created an opportunity for a highly experienced Global Credit Manager to join their team. You'll work within a fantastic leadership team within Credit Control and with a great team. If your ambitious to grow within your own capabilities and drive a team forward this could be a great role for you. The role outline: Take full responsibility for specific regions of credit and collection processes Work closely with the other Credit & Collections teams to ensure group policies and procedures are followed Manage the Credit team setting monthly and quarterly team targets as well as preforming annual appraisals Continually analyse effectiveness of existing collections strategies and identify new and improved strategies and opportunities Provide Bad Debt forecasting and assessing the collectability of at-risk accounts Produce weekly cash collection forecasts across various currencies Liaise with relevant stakeholders across the business driving and escalating dispute resolution when necessary Participation in other ad-hoc accounting projects as required About you: Must have experience managing and developing a team You will need to be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Credit & Collections processes and metrics Self-motivated and driven – strives to deliver quality results and drive continuous improvement, gets things done Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining attention to detail and effective controls
