Overview
Trainee Data Analyst Crewe 8.30 am - 5 pm This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional Excel skills wanting to develop their career in Data Analytics. This is seen as an entry-level role with training and great prospects which will steer you in the right direction in becoming an experienced Data Analyst. This business will offer great training and development to someone who has some experience of joining multiple tables and using analytical skills to create relevant data sets, manipulate data and extract data for their partners. You may be a fairly recent Graduate in computing, information management, maths or something similar or perhaps someone who has already gained experience in previous employment/internship and are able to manipulate, analyse and interpret data. This role will provide you with the next step in your Data Analytics career. In this role you will: Translate real-world questions into database queries. Build reports and dashboards that provide insight into operations. Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content Monitor and improve data collection and export workflows Hours of work 8.30 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday Full training Dynamic, fun environment Pension Free social activities Free parking About you: You must have Advanced Excel skills and proven experience (either practical or through your studies) of data modelling, cleansing, statistical methodologies and quality control. You must also have excellent attention to detail. You must be a nice, 'easy to get on with' person happy working in a small team. You must also have some self-confidence as you will be talking to clients and suppliers from time to time.
