The Assistant Building Manager will ensure that the office space(s) and building infrastructure are functioning well and are meticulously maintained. Client Details My client is within the Financial Services industry who's office is based in Central London. Description As the Assistant Building Manager your duties will include: Conduct daily walk-through of all floors to ensure compliance with firm standards. Interface with the building cleaners and other building vendors to ensure our standards are maintained at all times. Proactively provide and coordinate preventative maintenance on all the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems/equipment. Ensure company health & safety policies are upheld. Manage all compliance issues for the building. Create and maintain a tracking system for equipment warranty and repair information. Assess equipment repair/replace decisions. Assist with furniture sets and resets in conference rooms, auditoriums and event spaces. Occasionally oversee maintenance of the office space during off-hours and weekends. Profile As the Assistant Building Manager you will: Have worked in a similar role for 3 years Hold a relevant health and safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH, BIFM, IWFM etc.) Have worked in a Total FM position previously Be comfortable liaising with people of all levels, including Senior Stakeholder engagement.
