Overview
A great opportunity to take full ownership of the Credit Control function in a fantastic creative business Your new company A vibrant and well established international events management company based in London (zone 1) Your new role You will work within a finance team of four, reporting straight in to the Finance Director. In this Sole Charge Credit Control job you will take full ownership of a ledger of circa £1M per month with up to 800 live contracts at any one time. You will work with international clients and multiple currencies, You will engage with the client early on, obtaining signed contracts/documents, allowing you to build solid relationships early in the process. You will then follow up with chasing payment for invoices and cancellation fees as well as inputting invoices into the finance system (Quickbooks). Additionally you will post and allocate receipts on a daily basis and work proactively to resolve any queries which may arise. What you'll need to succeed Previous, recent experience in a similar Credit Control focused role is essential. Ideally you will have worked with multiple currencies and have knowledge of tax/withholding tax. If you have previous experience using Quickbooks system then this would be advantageous but is by no means essential as training will be provided. You will thrive in a fast paced environment, working with an energetic team. You will be a strong relationship builder at all levels, with gravitas to work with teams outside of finance (i.e. sales).
