Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a global engineering business renowned for its excellence and high quality products. If you want to work for a company that supplies to aerospace, oil and gas industries and others then this could be the role for you. You will have exposure to a wide range of machinery, including some of the largest cold extrusion presses in Western Europe. Duties to include: You will be taught specialised turning and machining services Work within 2 fully equipped in house machine shops that offer a range of subcontracting machining services, whether it be for single bespoke items or high volume manufacturing Working to offer superior service and efficiency second to none. They machine bar blanks for many clients to save them expensive CNC machining costs. They also manufacture Nickel Alloy flanges from bar blanks to ASTM B564 Working with materials of the finest quality which are essential to maintaining their high standards of manufacture. These include Austenitic, Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steels, Monel, Inconel and other Nickel Alloys, Titanium and Aluminium Alloys Working with a range of machinery to include: Chaffer Elbow Presses Wellman Tee Presses CNC Lathes and Machining Centres Wellman and Birlec Gas Furnaces Water Quench Tanks Surface Grinders and Finishing Machines Multi Head Bevelling Machines Automatic and Manual Saws Radial Drillers Vertical Millers Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
