RECRUITMENTiQ are working in partnership with a prestigious university and are seeking an Academic Quality Officer. Academic Quality Officer (Collaborative Provision) £25,941- £30,942: Grade 6 Full time, permanent Cirencester, Gloucestershire Do you have a relevant degree and/or an impressive track record in Quality Assurance gained within a Higher Education environment? Then consider a move to our client. At the forefront of agricultural education since our foundation in 1845, our client is going through a period of exciting and dynamic change. We now have some 1,200 undergraduate students from over 45 different countries studying at our historic campus, set in magnificent grounds in the heart of the Cotswolds. We're currently undertaking a large scale review of the curriculum and this, alongside an anticipated growth in Collaborative Partner provision, means we need someone like you to join our Registry Team. Your main focus will be on helping our Assistant Registrar (Academic Quality and Enhancement) maintain the quality and standards of the University's taught provision and manage significant parts of the annual quality cycle. But that's not all. You'll also take the lead role within the team for co-ordinating the quality activities related to the University's Collaborative Partners. Supporting Admissions, Registry, Finance and Planning staff regarding data files, statutory returns will be important, as will coordinating and reporting on periodic review and validation events. You will be involved in maintaining records of quality related activity, ensuring the accuracy of public information relating to our programmes and partnerships as well as acting as secretary to examination boards and University committees. You should have a proven aptitude for quality assurance, a good understanding of regulatory frameworks and experience of servicing committees and be able to show you are accustomed to building and sustaining relationships across a diverse organisation with a variety of stakeholders. A flexible approach to working hours is required, as is a willingness to occasionally travel within the UK, and possibly overseas. You should be proficient in the use of office IT systems and applications, have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail too plus great analytical and problem solving skills.
