Overview
FJR Finance are exclusively recruiting for leading energy business in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to work out of their Cheltenham office with some travel throughout the UK on an initial 12 month maternity contract. The Senior Finance Business Partner will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background. Experience of providing financial support to operational staff is essential and the Finance Business Partner will need to be able to analyse data and make conclusions. Advanced Excel skills are crucial, and the role will involve presenting to and influencing senior operational management. The position is a blend of core financial duties as well as value add so the suitable candidate will need to have experience of the full month end process. Key duties for the Senior Finance Business Partner role will involve the following - Full P & L analysis - Budgeting and forecasting - Production of month end numbers - Offer key financial support to the business regions - Provide risk analysis on credit and payment terms - Stock reporting - KPI analysis - Production of a monthly board report - Management of a small team - Ad-hoc project work Salary is anywhere between £55,000 and £65,000 car allowance and competitive benefits package The Senior Finance Business Partner role will be ideal for a commercially minded individual who feels comfortable really getting into the detail of an organisation but is not afraid to get involved core accounting.
