A new perm Procurement opportunity has arisen in a fast-paced, thriving organisation in Chester. £30kbenefits Your new company Your new company is a major player in the market, specialising in delivering a reliable, service to clients both nationally and internationally. Due to continued success, the team are seeking a driven and ambitious Buyer to join the ever-growing team. Your new role As Buyer, you will be responsible for conducting compliant procurement processes which align with PCR2015 and OJEU guidelines. You will proactively undertake market analysis to scope the market landscape and gain a strong understanding of new products emerging in the industry. You will build strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers and internal customers, as well as providing technical commercial advice to others within the organisation. You will coordinate mini-competitions and calls offs, along with developing contract specifications ready to go out to tender. What you'll need to succeed You will need strong commercial acumen and the drive and ambition to advance your Procurement career. You will be comfortable with OJEU processes and tendering and be familiar with the full procurement life cycle. You will have experience in negotiating contracts and being able to identify and mitigate supply chain risks. You will have good experience in a commercial procurement setting and either have, or be studying towards, MCIPS.
