Overview
Currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to cover Core Process Technology for an energy organisation based in Chester. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing the Core Process Technology spend covering the likes of vacuum pumps, valves & other precision engineering equipment. You will be responsible for delivering category plans through strategic sourcing and supplier management activities Responsibilities: Procurement of Precision Engineering Equipment/Core Process Technology Ensure technical compliance in line with regulator requirements Support development of long range category plans Implementation of strategic sourcing and supplier management activities Deliver savings Responsible for ensuring accuracy of reporting Deal with stakeholders across the organisation & in relation to particular projects Change management Contract management Essential Criteria: Experience of procuring precision engineering equipment SAP experience Strong influencing & negotiation skills Strong stakeholder management Strong contract management skills Ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance Desirable Criteria: Currently hold Baseline Security Clearance MCIPS Worked in an energy or nuclear environment Project procurement experience Multi-site experience If you are interested in the above position then please do click to apply.
