Area: Newcastle Salary: from £25k (DOE) Position: Hospitality Manager within a prestigious care home We are seeking a Hotel Services Manager/Hospitality Manager, who will take responsibility for delivering results that contribute to the overall success of our care home in an enthusiastic, proactive action orientated manner and support in driving the team to go above and beyond for our residents. The Hotel Services Manager position requires a dynamic, outgoing and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about hospitality and is responsible for planning, organising, directing and coordinating management activities. Duties & Responsibilities • Driving a customer service strategy • Motivating a large hotel services team to deliver service standards • Networking with service users, doctors, visitors and staff • The manager must also pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and expectations • Planning, organising and directing all hotel services activities, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, portering), food and beverage operations, and housekeeping • Staffing and resourcing issues • Dealing with customer complaints and comments Skills and Experience Knowledge and understanding: • Experience in all hotel departments and in leading large teams • Taking direct responsibility for Heads of Departments • Ideally a F&B background and extensive hospitality experience
