Overview

A key member of the global infrastructure team, based in Putney, South West London. The role supports, deploys and maintains SWG’s internal office systems and hardware, both on premise and cloud hosted, supporting colleagues in the UK, Sweden, Australia and Canada offices. In addition, there is a requirement to be involved in the support and deployment of customer-hosted environments, which can be held on-premise at customer sites or in our cloud hosting partner environments (currently Microsoft Azure). Key skills required: Sys Admin of Office 365 deployments Setting & administering SharePoint/Teams sites and training users Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Microsoft Azure administration (compute, networking, security, databases, devops, storage, integration) Excellent software & hardware problem-solving capabilities Innovative but commercially focussed with an understanding of business priorities Good communicator and multi-tasker, able to work as part of a team and alone Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines Passionate about delivering high quality IT services to staff and customers Administering windows server (build, patch, storage, networking) Building and maintaining physical server and network devices Supporting and maintaining internal IT devices and services (e.g. WiFi, VPN, security patching) Summary of Responsibilities: This role is part of the global infrastructure team, and is based in Putney, South West London. The primary purpose of the role is to support, deploy and maintain SWG’s internal office systems and hardware, both on premise and cloud hosted, supporting colleagues in the UK, Sweden, Australia and Canada offices. Typical duties will be: Resolving 1st line and 2nd line support queries from global staff on a wide range of IT systems and hardware. Building, deploying and maintaining laptops and similar EUC devices for staff Building, deploying and maintaining on-premise servers and networking devices in our server rooms Administering the global Office 365 deployment and associated tools (email, skype, SharePoint, teams, office, identity) Administering the global identity solutions (on premise Active Directory synchronising with Azure AD) Administering both the back office and customer hosted environments in Microsoft Azure Pro-active monitoring of customer hosted environment Liaising with customer support and professional services to ensure a high level of customer service Assisting project teams to deploy and migrate new or existing customer hosted environments This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89829687
