Overview

An industry-dominating client is currently looking for a Lead Electronics Design Engineer to take the technical authority of design and development of next generation urban transportation solutions. They kicked of their latest project just under a year ago which taken them to the forefront of the industry and a well-known brand across the UK with scope to move into the European market in the very near future. This Lead Electronics Engineer will run a small team of Electronics & Firmware engineers whilst maintain a hands on approach on the full product lifecycle of next generation technology on their current project and their exciting upcoming collaborative enterprises. The ideal Electronics Engineer will have a strong background of at least 4 years with Analogue and Digital Circuit design managing the full product lifecycle, working to meet cost and technical requirements. Due to the nature of the products, it is essential that the Engineer is competent working with Embedded Electronics, such as Micro-Controllers or Microprocessors and has some experience of Firmware development using C/C++. The Key skills they are looking for are: Analogue & Digital Circuit Design PCB Design (Altium preferred) Firmware Development using C/C++ Full Product Lifecycle Experience Communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S) 4 Years’ experience The client is looking at salaries up to £80,000 (dependant on experience) along with a fantastic package.
