Overview
An opportunity has become available for a design specialist to join the geotechnical department within a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Manchester. Skills/Qualifications Required: - Academic background in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. BEng/MEng PhD in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural engineering. - Knowledge of foundation design, basement design and slope stability is essential for this post - Experience using of software packages such as Plaxis/LUSAS/Slope W/WALLAP is required Joining the geotechnical group, typically you will work closely with design engineers producing detailed models for various complex engineering solutions. Projects will include major rail and infrastructure schemes, buildings, bridges & highways and major earthworks schemes.
