Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager) Locations: Manchester Salary: £35K-£45K An excellent Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager) opportunity has come available for a well experienced rounded engineer to help drive and develop a specialist office in the NW. You will have the chance to join an SME Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental hybrid with multiple offices that has exploded into the NW market and expanded year on year. With an already established team and workload, you will be sat under a well-respected regional director that specialises in Geotechnical Engineering, mentoring the junior engineers, project managing and having a major influence on the growth of the office. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager), your role will involve managing multiple large-scale Geotechnical Engineering projects from tender stage through to the final invoice. The technical expertise as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager) will surround technical lead on phase I, phase II reporting, risk assessments, geotechnical interpretation (including all foundation recommendations and preliminary design). The role will include client liaison, design, interface with project teams, and contract implementation. Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager) specification: Degree in Geology or Environmental Science whilst obtaining a relevant MSc. At least 8 years' experience within Engineering Geology / Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental contractor or consultancy. All-round technical knowledge of Geotechnical engineering.
