Overview
FYTE Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a Scottish community justice Not-for-Profit organisation, based in Edinburgh City Centre that are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer to join their established team on a permanent basis. Your next role: As Finance Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager where you will play an integral role managing the purchase & sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, assisting with the production of management and statutory accounts and forecasting and budgeting. You will be liaising with internal stakeholders at all levels to deal with financial queries and assisting with grant fund applications and submission of ongoing reports and other ad hoc finance duties as required. What you'll need to You will have great attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment, managing time and workload effectively. You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in the third sector is not essential but highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word Ability to work independently and prioritise workload, seeking assistance as required Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Ability to work in a ordered way and in accordance to agreed financial procedures You will receive a competitive base salary of £22,000 - £24,101 DOE with an employer pension contribution of 8%, 31 days annual leave and flexible working scheme.
