Overview
Saxonwood is set in beautiful grounds in the heart of the historic town of Battle and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Our home has 36 bedrooms, a large comfortable lounge and a bright and airy dining room where residents enjoy a variety of freshly home cooked food. We have extensive gardens and our own orchard, as well as a spacious patio. We provide 24-hour care for elderly people and have a committed staff team led by a long standing management team. We are currently looking for people to work with us, whose values reflect ours. We recruit people who care about people, who treat others with dignity and respect. You’ll be part of our friendly, positive and supportive team providing a high standard of care to our residents at Saxonwood. Your role will include providing person centred care and support to our residents including personal care, assistance at meal times and help with activities whilst also listening and talking to our residents. If you are caring, customer focused, able to keep accurate records and committed to providing a high standard of care then this could be the role for you. Previous experience of working in the Health Care sector is essential as well as NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent. Working hours: 22.5 hours per week, 6:45am - 2:15pm or 1:45pm - 9:15pm Successful candidate must be available to work alternate weekends In return, you will have an access to other benefits and bonus schemes.
