Overview
Support Worker (Kidderminster) The role: To support individuals with complex behavior patterns achieve maximum independence. A Support Worker supports individuals service users with Learning Disabilities, including challenging behavior to undertake every day activities and functions. This includes integrating the service users into local community life and to attain their personal independence, choice and responsibility. Also to promote & maintain existing relationships as well as making new friendships. To have an understanding of individuals needs by reading and adhering to the care plans To encourage service users to participate in planned activities Assist in the day to day running of Service users homes To work in accordance to the risk assessments put into place for each service user Personal care Maintaining service users dignity & practicing confidentially at all times Administer medication if required Follow company procedures at all times Record keeping Safeguarding and adult protection in accordance with the company safeguarding policy Reporting any concerns to Management Working shifts and weekends plus Bank holidays Be able to adhere to a 1 contracted sleepover per week To be considered please send over your CV via the 'Apply' button.
