Set in the popular village of Shipton-by-Beningbrough, in the Vale of York. Our stunning Grade II listed building has considerable historical value. We’re extremely proud to have it in our portfolio and maintain this building to its original standards. Due to the location of St Catherine’s, ideally candidates with a driving license and access to a car is preferable. However, there may be opportunities for car sharing with current staff. The role You will be assisting vulnerable adults with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing etc. as well as being involved in undertaking household tasks such as housework, serving food, assisting residents to community visits, all while building strong working relationships with the residents, their families and your work colleagues. We are looking for people who: Work well and “get stuck in” with the team Excellent communication skills Demonstrate determination and resilience A positive “can do” attitude Flexible to cover shifts when required – Our homes operate 7 days per week, 365 days per year Travel allowance only applicable to those working beyond a 20 mile radius of the home.
