Overview

Rare vacancy at award winning training practice in Western Northamptonshire. The practice is CQC OUTSTANDING and has a vacancy for an additional salaried GP for the first time in 7 years due to an upcoming retirement. In terms of commute it enjoys great motorway / road links via M1, M40 & A45 & A361 . This makes it easy to reach from Rugby, Northampton, Banbury & Leamington Spa – no more than 30 mins from any of these places and situated in small town nestled in between. The practice has indicated a willingness to offer a package £10,500 - £11,000 per session for candidates who are particularly experienced or bring more to the practice in terms of skill set. More info below: Breakdown of practice CQC Outstanding Modern purpose built building, 12,500 List size 6 Partners 3 Salaried GP’s Locums only used to cover sickness / maternity / annual leave 2 ANPs, 1 prescribing Pharmacist , Paramedic (handling bulk of home visits, Clinical manager to ensure efficiency of the nursing support, 3 PNs 3 HCA SystemOne clinical system Practice Manager Business manager Additional services/clinics include (but not limited to) Palliative care, Diabetes, Minor surgery Training practice Close links with Buckinghamshire Uni for both training and research Daily coffee meeting at 10.30am all GPs, ANPs & Paramedics involved (time blocked out), Monthly PLT Typical set up for GP’ 15 patients in the morning 15 patients in the afternoon Allocated time for admin On call rota - 1 day per week for (7 sessions and above) - 0.5 days a week (6 sessions or less) Paramedics & ANPs do vast majority of home visits Extended hours are only in the mornings when the practice opens only (and entirely voluntary) Practice closed every day at 6.30pm (GPs leave on time) No weekends commitments If you would like to find out some more information regarding location then please call in to discuss with a Medmatch consultant who will calculate your commute for you.
