Role Purpose (Summary) An exciting opportunity to support the delivery of compliance monitoring reviews and remediation activities as needed to comply with regulatory requirements (including those relating to Conduct Risk, Solvency II, PRA, FCA, NBB and Lloyd’s) as set out in the EO Compliance Policy Framework. Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: To support the Compliance Monitoring Manager in the delivery of the annual EO Compliance Monitoring plan. Delivery of planned 'second line of defence’ assurance activities and thematic monitoring reviews, from initial planning to conducting fieldwork and presenting and reporting output to Senior Management; To support the Compliance Monitoring Manager in ensuring the EO Compliance Monitoring plan remains fit for purpose by regular review and bench marking and assisting in the creation of an annual plan; As part of monitoring activity, properly account for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility; Assist in the Monitoring team’s reporting requirements for the various EO supervisory and governance committees; Contribute to a positive environment by meeting cultural expectations and value "can do" attitudes, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun; Adopt QBE values in personal work behaviours, decision-making, contributions and interpersonal interactions; manage own career development by soliciting feedback and valuing other perspectives. You will have the following experience and qualifications: Professional approach with a strong desire to learn Detailed knowledge of both Financial Services regulations and Lloyd’s reporting requirements; Compliance experience gained within insurance Strong organisational skills Good working knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting business and organisation; Strong analytical, research and reporting skills Ability to handle a varied workload Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in financial crime insurance compliance Experience in the Lloyd’s market an advantage At QBE, we view our people as our most precious asset.
