Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary Rolling - Central Birmingham Your new company A local authority based in the West Midlands is looking for 2 new recruits to join a very fast paced, busy and hard-working team. Your new role You will be joining a busy Accounts Payable team where you will be required to tenaciously work through a backlog of invoices. You will be expected to work as part of a team responsible for delivering a quality Accounts Payable service. To undertake transactional data entry into the SAP system ensuring data is entered accurately. To engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timeliness and accuracy by taking a proactive approach to query resolution. Carry out payment reconciliations where required What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in an Accounts Payable team preferably within the public sector Experience of working on SAP Finance application Experience of effectively communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders Knowledge of financial procedures in regards to Procure to Pay Ability to use SAP to undertake the processing of financial data demonstrating accuracy and speed Ability to prioritise work loads and meet allocated targets Ability to work as a team member and support the maintaining of a positive working relationship and environment Understand and embrace the values of diversity What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
