Overview
Our Client Our client is an innovator who are working in an industry which is on the tip of everyone's tongue and the business continues to go from strength to strength building across its multiple sites in the UK. Based in South Yorkshire the organisation look to massively support its workforce and give them the platform to be the best they can be. The Role Reporting into the Head of HR, the main responsibility of the HR Advisor will be employee relations. The successful candidate will have up to date employment law knowledge, confidence and experience, to deal with complex disciplinary cases and give generalist HR advice on; absence, performance, grievance, maternity, flexible working. Key Responsibilities Include: Employee Relations & Employment Law Building relationships with key stakeholders in the business to provide HR generalist support through the company's journey of transformation First point of HR contact for managers Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made Reviewing and updating job descriptions in line with Group template/competency framework Monitoring key people metrics, such as turnover and retention rates and developing action plans to support improvement with key stakeholders Coaching, developing and supporting Managers within meetings on Employee Relations matters Key Skills & Experience Required The ideal candidate for this role will be a HR Advisor who has experience of working in a fast paced environment and has a broad range of HR generalist experience; Previous HR experience in a large, multi-site organisation CIPD qualification or relevant HR degree/qualification (or substantial HR experience in an advisory capacity) Ideally educated to Degree level (or equivalent) Exposure to all generalist areas Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages & Previous use of HR system You will be able to work autonomously with a consultative and pragmatic style with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders up to a senior level.
