Introduction Founded in 2008, Arkesden Partners is a London based executive search firm. We undertake mandates across Europe, Middle East and Africa and have built a successful track record to date of working closely with clients and candidates alike. We operate in five key markets, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Energy, Real Estate and leading global Corporates. Over the last 10 years we have built up a strong reputation in our markets. What do we do? We act on behalf of our clients who seek to hire the best people in the market for their businesses. Arkesden Partners sources that talent and manages the end to end interview process, working on behalf of the candidates and clients. We find those people through headhunting, recommendations, and utilising our ever-expanding database. We act as a consultancy too. We provide not just human capital but also market data and trends to our clients on topics ranging from salary and bonus details through to team mapping exercises. Hiring Overview Arkesden runs a highly successful graduate programme starting in September each year. We aim to hire between four and five of the brightest candidates to join our teams. We run a rotation programme for our Graduates around the business for the first 6 months of their training with us. Enabling juniors to sample the various markets we cover, build strong relationships and a solid understanding of what each team does before moving full time in to a chosen sector team. Arkesden Partners is looking to develop new talent across the firm in order to meet its exciting growth plans. We have a long history of successfully hiring graduates from leading institutions. A number of our management team have developed from joining as graduates and becoming Partners in less than a decade. Role Specification This is a role for an ambitious Graduate to initially train as a Researcher with the aim of developing into a Consultant within the business in the future. There are many facets to Executive Search, all of which are learnt through hands on training. Arkesden Partners offers a tailor-made Consultant Development Framework designed by an industry leading Management Consultancy for Researchers that join. Training You will be expected to attend no less than twenty-two training courses in your first 24 months with us including: In depth overview of the investment and advisory markets across all our sectors – individual courses for each sub sector Telephone skills - speaking to candidates and clients alike Networking (recommendation, referral and headhunting) Client and candidate face to face meetings Mandate briefing skills Business development techniques Working structure efficiency Negotiation and mandate planning End to end account management These are some of the key areas of becoming a successful Executive Search Consultant and ongoing training and development plays a major part of your work at Arkesden Partners. Job Role Initially you will learn the business from the ground up: Building your network and establishing relationships with candidates through headhunting and regular meetings Attending client meetings with consultants in order to write job specifications and confidently sell roles to candidates Generating market intel (teams, compensation trends etc.) Assisting from day one in the research and execution of live mandates Key Skills What kind of person are we looking for?
