Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Taylor Rose are currently working with a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in Oxford who, as a result of continued growth, are now seeking to recruit an ambitious Outsourcing Senior/ Management Accountant to join their team. The successful individual will support the management team and help develop their own diverse portfolio of clients and be responsible for their day to day accounting involving the preparation of monthly/ quarterly management accounts with commentary and ensuring all deadlines are met. You will oversee and review the work of junior staff and there will be plenty of client interaction so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is required. The ideal candidate will be AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or studying towards the qualification), working in accountancy practice with a strong background in management accounts preparation. Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of clients Preparing management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs for review, ensuring any anomalies Providing commentary and analysis Ensuring all client reporting and payment deadlines are met Monthly journals, prepayments, accruals and depreciation are solved promptly Preparation and review of VAT returns Reviewing the work of junior staff Identify areas to improve existing systems & processes Exciting ad hoc projects Requirements: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or finalist AAT Qualified &/or ACA/ ACCA Student A strong background in accountancy practice Good communication skills For further information on this role please contact Ed Taylor at Taylor Rose Recruitment
