Overview
Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Commercial Banking Executive to join our client’s well-established wealth management firm in Exeter. Your role will be to provide support to the firm’s Director and the bankers within the commercial banking team. You will need to be confident acquiring new clients and providing effective account management to existing clients. To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in commercial banking with experience in client facing roles sourcing new business. Responsibilities: Supporting the Director and bankers within the commercial banking team Seeking out new business Effectively retaining existing clients Aiding in the preparation of lending proposals Completing compliance regulatory exams and ensuring compliance with regulations and law Management of maintenance procedures such as account opening and closing Development of sales pitches and presentations Requirements: Experience in commercial banking Client facing experience with a background creating new business Ability to provide excellent client service and retention A detailed knowledge of lending and the relevant regulatory and legal requirements Excellent communication and relationship building skills The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a heavy workload Sales and presentation skills This role will pay a competitive salary and is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm in an exciting and varied role.
