Overview

I am recruiting for an Accountant to join a fantastic Finance team I am looking for someone who is motivated and ambitious with relevant qualifications, skills and experience. This is an excellent opportunity, with great prospects for personal development and career progression as part of a multidisciplinary finance team. You must have experience working within public sector Duties • Financial accounting, including preparing the Statement of Accounts, maintaining core controls and reconciliations and submission of returns • Treasury Management • Company and charity (statutory) accounting • Fixed asset accounting • Taxation policy and advice • Insurance contract • Collection Fund Accounting • Supporting the Financial Systems accountant (where required) • Initiatives to develop both the Finance Function and financial processes. Person Specification • CCAB part-qualification or AAT qualification • Relevant experience
