Overview
I have a role for a client of mine based right in the centre of Bristol. The role is to join an established business that works in a Agile environment. You'll be involved in testing a variety of web-based products that are white labeled and used by some really high profile clients. You will be joining a small team of 3 testers who are starting out on their automation journey. They have recently employed contractors who set up the automation and are looking for their permanent test team to take this over as well as decide on new tools and technologies for it moving forward. For this position, they are looking for a manual software tester with a great eye for detail who is super keen to learn automation (you don't need previous experience with it, although obviously if you do that's a bonus) and the role will initially involve manual testing but will gradually move to also focus on automation too so you'll have the opportunity to get involved in both. The role is working in a fast-moving environment and you'll get to be involved in the testing of a variety of different products. It's a great opportunity to join a company that has been growing its tech team and have a great culture and a team that are sociable and also give back to the community. Salary is anywhere from £27,000- £37,000 depending on experience plus good benefits.
