The Candidate If you are theideal candidate,you will haverecent experience ofElectronics and Software in a technical role that is more systems aware rather than individual components.YourBackground could be from Applications, Validation, Characterisation and Test Engineering of silicon IC's. The Role Job purpose: Todeliver high quality test results utilising 'best practice' methodologies in-line with quality management systems and requirements. Principal Responsibilities: * Participate in new product design meetings and drive analog/digital DFT techniques in new designs; * Develop and implement test solutions for newproductsincludingsoftware, hardware and documentation; * Be an active participant in theproduct development team,focussing on DFT and testability acrossthe NPI cycle; * Develop and maintaincollaborative working relationships with designers, product, validation, characterization, test and applications engineers; * Proactively feedback & communicate with the product or project teamwith regard toproblems, defects, questionsand suggestions that arise during the development & delivery lifecycle; * Characterization ofNew product ATE; * Test Solution qualification over voltage and temperature; * Collect and organize test and measurement data and create reports; * Create production documentation for test solutions; * Identification, reviewandmaintenance of test casesandtest results; * Ensure that documentandquality reviews take placeandare recorded. Key performance expectations: * Execute appropriate test solutions and keep the core team uptodate; * Delivery of high quality test resultsin line with quality management standards; * Well written, accurate and timely produced reports and updates, containing clearly presented results; * Develop and maintain collaborativeworking relationships; * Organised, efficient and able to work within agreed timescales. Knowledge, skills and experience: * Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline; * Some experience in mixed signal testing experience. Familiar with DSP testing techniques, under sampling and Fourier analysis; * Schematic Design Entry; * Ability to assist in PCB design reviews; * Understanding of hardware test methodologies and procedures; * Systems knowledge approach * Software experience in C, C++, Python * Use of revision control tools * Ideally some experience in; * ATE semiconductor testing; * In bring up support in offshore test locations; * In wafer probe test development; * ATE development hands on experience, including writing test methods. V93K preferred; * Anunderstanding of contributors to provide support indesigningcost effective test solutions; * Proficient in the use of MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email systems. Additional information: * Occasional travel may be required; * Undertake such other comparable duties as may be required by the TeamManageror VP,Product, Test, Validation & Characterization.
