This team had its best year last year and is now looking to expand their technical team with a experienced senior software tester to not only perform hands on testing but to also mentor other members of the testing team and become a senior member of staff. Working in the travel sector this team's projects are fast paced and never in short supply so they require someone who can step into this role and hit the ground running. You will be part of the digital platform team, the digital business, which was created to take the team on the next level of their journey. Utilising new and emerging technologies, this is a fast-moving, agile software house of ideas and innovation The role The position requires both hands on testing along with someone who can manage a team effectively in day to day tasks and lead on testing projects. you will be managing the team of QA Engineers, that's right you will be in charge of leading the testing projects and making sure the team is doing everything to the highest possible standards. The QA Engineers work within multi-disciplinary product teams and as such, have a great working relationship within the team and the other technical teams. This team prides themselves on being collaborative and social and discussing the latest technology or heading out for a drink after work isn't uncommon your will focus on ensuring quality whilst enabling the business to move fast, change direction, and get product to our customer base quickly and efficiently. What you will have an experienced manager who not only is technically strong but also is able to lead a team enthusiastically and with strong communication skills. You must be able to demonstrate extensive automation test knowledge and be able to develop, configure, code and test automation with high complexity, including the testing of API services. Knowledge of Cypress and Selenium is a must along with knowledge of continuous Integration tools using Bit bucket and deployment tools using Octopus/CodeDeploy. In-depth knowledge of AWS will be highly regarded.
