Overview

A highly successful international property business seeks a Regional Commercial Manager to join the business and contribute towards the company’s overall growth. The Regional Commercial Manager will help drive improvements across all revenue streams and help the business increase their market share, turnover and profitability. You will be responsible for a team of 4-5 Commercial Managers. Working in partnership with the Head of Commercial to build, measure, adapt and deliver a commercial strategy which maximises the revenue and profit growth of your area. Grow, inspire and motivate your area team to successfully deliver on the same. You will be commercially savvy and will devise commercial activities to drive revenue and performance in your region. You will also be innovative and expected to develop new revenue streams for your sites through the addition of other initiatives. Monitoring competitor activity is also important and you will do this in order to develop new strategies to help drive growth and revenue. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: In partnership with the Senior Commercial Team build activities which: Maximise site profitability through any mix of revenue Find, open and develop new sites in your region Launch new activities or services in your sites to improve the customer journey and increase profit Set clear KPI’s for your Commercial Managers and continuously measure to ensure targets are met In partnership with your operations counterpart, work together to deliver cost efficiencies whilst maintaining the best service to our customers Develop relationships with landlords and commercial third parties which provide opportunities to grow our revenue and profit Sign-off new site models, commercial deals (subject to SODA limits) and tariff changes Oversee and review competitor activity and the collation of business intelligence, ensuring actions are successfully defined and implemented for your regions Coordinate city reviews with the Commercial Insight and Commercial Managers Coach your team on new site visits and assist them to construct the relevant financial models In partnership with Commercial Finance coach your team on the construction of forecasts and budgets for your regions Oversee and lead the operational comments for investment papers as and when required for your regions Lead, motivate and develop your area team; Role model behaviours which reflect our values and build team engagement Experience & Knowledge : Prior experience of, and ability to, lead, motivate and develop a remote team 8 years’ experience of end to end sales experience, and/or multi-site commercial/retail experience Experience in contributing to and executing successful commercial strategies Prior experience of developing new and existing business relationships with clients and customers Established network in target area Strong financial/commercial acumen and understanding of the end to end P&L process Experience of setting pricing models Strong understanding and experience of multi-site revenue generation (and wider implication of decisions on sites within the vicinity) How to consistently improve volume and yield aspects per site working cross functionally Skill-set : Effective leadership and people skills; the ability to successfully build, inspire, engage and motivate the wider team to deliver on the commercial strategy and growth ambitions Highly persuasive, able to generate awareness of, and excitement for, the commercial team’s vision Excellent networking and collaboration skills; a proven ability to open doors, talk passionately and build working relations - with the ability to construct and sell commercial solutions/deals to prospective clients Exemplar collaboration skills - ability to work collegially and cross functionally to ensure the successful delivery of the Commercial team’s strategic goals Successfully multi task a variety of different sites and responsibilities Results-driven, committed individual, able to self-motivate and work un-supervised Personable attitude with the ability to gain the trust of our customers, clients, peers and team members Communicates clearly in any medium including articulating financial complexity into a meaningful output Analyse data to drive commercial decisions which consistently support market share growth Analyse financial reports and be able to extract data which would influence performance and opportunity
