Multi Skilled Engineer - Nights Our consultancy are currently retained by a major agricultural and food manufacturing business who wish to appoint an Multi Skilled Engineer who is ready for their next challenge. Our client, a highly regarded PLC business with multiple sites across the UK, employing some 6500 staff have a requirement for a Multi Skilled Engineer. Their product portfolio includes a range of pork, gourmet sausages, cooked meats, cooked poultry, charcuterie, gourmet bacon and pastry products. To further strengthen their market position the business have invested heavily in a multi-million pound “world class” manufacturing facility near Eye in Suffolk. As a result, the business now seeks to recruit for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers as part of this exciting expansion, ideally from an FMCG or related sector. Reporting directly to Engineering Manager we seek a credible and confident individual who will constantly strive to deliver best practice within a fast paced manufacturing site. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off Nights 17:30- 05:30. Key responsibilities: · Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance · Work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and also investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages · Investigate and establish causes of all breakdowns and damages. · Fault finding, analysing and continuously improving the site · Developing pollution control, pollution prevention and recycling programmes in line with Second Nature Targets. · Able to comply with Health and Safety regulations always employing best practices.
