Overview

Job Title: Mechanical Night Shift Engineer Location: Eye Salary: 38k Technique Solutions are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Mechanical Night Shift Engineer for their state of the art new Facility in Eye this is a permanent role on Shifts they are 4 on and 4 off, 5pm-5am. The Role Supporting Production (dealing with breakdowns etc) and maintaining our equipment (PPMs) Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime. Implement safe temporary repairs where production restrictions apply, inform Shift Leader and arrange permanent repairs in production down time. Assist Electrical and Mechanical engineers where necessary and gain their help as required. Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose. Carry out routine maintenance to good standards. Report any/all abnormal engineering occurrences Comply with current health and safety requirements and company PPE policy. Training/Skills Requirements: Candidates need to have an engineering qualification of min. NVQ level 3, or equivalent experience and have a balance of electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
