Overview
QA Technician – Permanent – Full-time – Eye, Suffolk - £19,663 per annum We are recruiting for a QA Technician on behalf of a food production company based in Eye, Suffolk. The main purpose of this role is to assistant the Technical Co-ordinator in implementing food safety, quality and hygiene systems across the business. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm. Main duties include: Factory checks and samples collections if required Audit and maintain quality assurance records Helping the Technical Coordinator with their duties Handling, logging, investigating and responding to customer complaints Carry out internal audits, follow up sign off of all non-conformances Liaising with customers, consumers and suppliers where necessary Keep QMS documentation up to date and improve where needed Provide information to Technologist’s based on customer requests Maintaining of training records for all factory floor staff Sampling, storage and distribution of samples, including relevant paperwork Completion of records and data in the required manner Raw material intake checks and assessment against standards Key requirements include: Internal Auditing experience HACCP Level 2 Food Safety Level 2 Good computer skills – Word, Excel Communication Planning and organising own work Team work If you are interested in this role please apply with an up to date CV or call and ask for Emily King Hales Group Ltd collects and keeps information from applicants, so that we can monitor our recruitment process, ensure compliance with the Equal Opportunities policy, and when appropriate send you details of future job opportunities.
