Overview

Quality Engineer First Call Contract Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for our clients busy manufacturing operation based in Stratford, London, E15. This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis. Immediate interviews and starts are available. Candidate duties and responsibilities will include: Setting quality processes for departments to work to (including SOPs) Liaising with design, purchasing and sales departments to ensure units in production are to specification and facilitating any changes via the raising of amendments RCA investigations and CAPA implementations Assisting with first off approvals – assembled goods Assisting with first off approvals for complex or critical parts – production Chairing Quality Meetings Identifying process improvements Completion of risk reviews, design reviews and any related reporting Customer and supplier facing, providing excellent levels of client services Visiting suppliers when required Auditing Calibration Other ISO 9001 related tasks and processes Candidate experience will include: Preferable manufacturing experience A recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC or HNC) Good Health & Safety knowledge, an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate would be beneficial Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. There may be out of hours / on call activity. Starting salary is £30kpa to £35kpa excellent company benefits. For further information please contact First Call Contract Services today
