Production Supervisor
Overview
Acorn Recruitment is searching for a Production Supervisor to join our client, a speciality chemical company, based in Liverpool. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the purpose of the role is to manage and control all shift production in order to achieve daily and weekly targets whilst adhering to the strict regulatory requirements enforced within the chemical industry. Your duties will include: - Managing a team - Ensuring that daily production targets are met - Delivering quality products right-first-time through consistent processing - Taking responsibility for all aspects of training for Operators in order to promote and improve flexibility across the production areas. - Develop and maintain good communication via morning meetings, shift safety meetings, handovers, briefs and team meetings. Excellent working knowledge of chemical plant safety is essential. In addition to a clear and concise understanding of all the relevant regulatory guidelines on safety/environmental, GMP and other policies and procedures. A BSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent is desirable. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience to offer. Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
