Overview
An exciting job opportunity has just become available We are look ing for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced person in Sign Making to come into our workshop in Crowborough, East Sussex. You will be working alongside our very small team to produce high quality signage - attention to detail is paramount. The role will cover a wide and varying array of skill sets that will always keep the day interesting and sometimes challenging. No day is ever the same There will also be a requirement to install signage onsite from time to time. We require someone who has the desire to lead and manage a small workshop. Duties around this will include m aking sure the working environment is always tidy and safe to work in, k eep jobs flowing through and managing stock. Essential skills required are the following: Workshop experience using work shop machinery such as table saws, Pillar Drills, Bandsaws, Battery powered tools. Knowledge of Omega/flexi or similar sign software. Vinyl cutting, weeding, and application on to most substrates including vehicles. Working with Plastics, Metals and other materials commonly used in signage. Working with LEDs, neon, with knowledge of soldering, wiring and troubleshooting. Other skills that would benefit are as follows: Painting using 2k paints and letter making. The job will require a level of flexibility to enable us to hit target dates from time to time. We feel this is an exciting opportunity for someone to build upon their current skill set in an ever changing and fast moving sector. The ideal candidate would live locally, with a maximum 1hr travel distance away. Salary subject to experience.
